A Brief Overview:

To assist in the proper, safe, and efficient operation of the CityPlex Towers Central Plant under the direct supervision of the Chief Engineer.  Consisting of operating and maintaining, but not limited to the following systems; high pressure steam boilers, heat exchangers, chillers, cooling towers, water distribution (pumps), water treatment, electrical distribution and essential emergency systems (stand-by generators and fire pumps).

What you'll need to be successful:   

         A service-minded attitude.

         Proven ability and problem solving skills.

         Real world examples of effectively using mechanical and computer equipment.

         Ability to work independently.

         4 years of experience in the field & First Class Unlimited License.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS will include but not be limited to: 

Sitting, standing, stooping, standing walking, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, climbing, twisting of upper body, handling by seizing, holding, grasping, or turning hands, but without finger dexterity, and balancing to prevent falling or erratic movement, climbing hand-over-hand. 

Vision to include near, color, depth perception, and field vision.  Manual dexterity for operation of equipment/machines.  Exposure to hazards:  mechanical, electrical, high-pressure steam, radiation, fume/odors, dust/mites and chemical hazards.  Working indoors and outdoors -- could include periods of extreme temperatures and extreme noise.  Lifting 50 lbs. to 100 lbs. such as motors, compressors, misc.
