A Brief Overview:

Performs various tasks such as writing specifications required for the applications, using programming computer languages and utilizing development tools to design, build, test, implement, and support applications. Some duties include designing and documenting technical solutions, of low and medium complexity, for new and existing software systems. Creating ad hoc reports for all University departments, Administrates purchased systems, including installation, monitoring, upgrading, and system security functions among other duties assigned.

         Real world examples of experience with procedure language such as C or Java & relational database technology and SQL.

A Brief Overview:

This position meets and counsels with graduate and Online Campus students and parents for the purpose of awarding and processing both federal and private student aid in accordance with federal, institutional and/or other appropriate regulations, policies and guidelines. Communicates with students for the purpose of insuring that they are aware of the deadlines associated with applying for financial aid.  Makes certain students have access to, or provides them with proper forms to complete in order to receive financial aid and other duties assigned.

A Brief Overview:

Under general direction oversees a variety of professional Human Resources assignments to include workforce planning, recruitment, selection, compensation, employee relations, and employment law compliance for Oral Roberts University and University Broadcasting, Inc. Duties include creating job descriptions and job postings, counseling employees regarding University policies and/or procedures; Assist with special projects, such as Employee Appreciation Day, annual Benefits Open Enrollment, and retirement meetings, act on behalf of the Human Resource Director in his/her absence, as needed among other duties assigned.

Senior Institutional Research Associate

Duties:

Conduct and analyze surveys and research used to support short and long term assessment and planning goals of the University. Will be responsible for assessment, evaluation, and quality control of online programs. Work closely with the Dean of Online and Life Long Learning with certificate assessment, both for credit and not for credit certificates. Analyze various data sets in order to compile periodic reports and publications; complete external surveys from third party constituents; assist with national survey administration; write summary reports of survey results. Assist in implementation of the program review and assessment processes. Assist with ePortfolio training and help desk. Maintain institutional research and assessment web sites. Prepare statistical reports and data used in response to both internal and external requests; must be capable of establishing and maintaining working relationships with the Colleges and departments. Will also assist with accreditation and program review functions. Other responsibilities as needs arise.

 

Qualifications:

Doctorate in computer science, statistics, management information systems, educational measurement, or a quantitative social science. Higher education experience preferred. Must possess extensive knowledge of empirical research methodology, sampling techniques, higher order statistical analysis, and corresponding software. Ability to use SQL for extracting information and completing reports in an Oracle environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Effective organizational skills and time management skills are indispensable.

Territory Managers are responsible for managing the recruitment efforts for assigned regions within the United States.  They perform all significant recruiting and admissions functions necessary for the university to successfully accomplish its educational business and serve the admissions needs of the customers of the university. Some duties include managing and strategizing current and potential markets for ways to develop and reach prospective students. Develops, rates and pioneers contacts (including schools, ministries, churches, etc.) in relevant region of country whereby contact is made with respective organizations among other duties assigned.

A Brief Overview:

This position assists the Verification Coordinator in processing Verification documents and in communicating with the students regarding their Verification statuses in accordance with federal, institutional and/or other appropriate regulations, policies, and guidelines. This position also Maintains accurate files and records for Verification processing and filing, Stays current with and ensures compliance with federal, state, and university regulations, policies, and guidelines. Makes updates on Banner as needed for Verification and C-flag processing, among other duties assigned.
