ORU offers a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance degree. We are currently looking for highly qualified Dance Adjunct Faculty. Candidates must have the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: (Ballet emphasis) beginning through pre-professional level ballet technique, intermediate to advanced pointe, choreography, dance forms (world dance and/or social dance forms), dance history, pedagogy, improvisation, dance for worship, restaging of classical and/or choreographing contemporary ballet repertoire for ensemble. (Modern emphasis) beginning through pre-professional modern technique, choreography, dance forms (world dance and/or social dance forms), dance history, pedagogy, improvisation, dance for worship, and choreographing new work for ensemble. Qualifications: preferred M.F.A. degree in Dance and/or an established record of professional experience in the field. Candidates must have the ability to teach in a multitude of the following areas with specialized excellence in teaching ballet/pointe technique, restaging classical works, and choreographing new contemporary works for concerts: (Ballet emphasis) beginning through pre-professional level ballet technique, pointe, choreography, modern dance, dance forms (world dance and/or social dance forms), dance history, pedagogy, improvisation, dance for worship, restaging of classical repertoire and choreographing contemporary and/or classical ballet for concert. Qualifications: M.F.A. degree in Dance and an established record of professional experience in the field or equivalence in professional experience in the field.
