Chief Technician

Full-Time

A Brief Overview:

Responsible for installation and maintaining all security alarms, fire alarms, security gates, security cameras, recorders, power supplies, handicap doors, monitors, fence alarms, splitters, etc. as a licensed electrician.

What you'll need to be successful:   

         A service-minded attitude.

         Proven ability and problem solving skills.

         Aptitude with heavy machinery.

         Ability to work independently.

         A valid driverís license.

         High School Diploma or GED.

         Four years of experience with Fire and Security Alarm License or and Electricians License.

Physical Demands & Requirements: 

Will include but not be limited to sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling and/or kneeling, the ability to push or pull, manual dexterity for operation of equipment, twisting of upper body, the ability to balance to prevent falling or erratic movement, and climbing hand-over-hand. There is occasional heavy lifting of items exceeding 50 lbs.  May frequently require working under extreme heat and/or cold and/or noise.  Must have ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods of time without affecting the quality of work.  Vision to include: near, far, color, peripheral, and depth perception.  

Maintenance Mechanic

A Brief Overview:

To assist in the safe and efficient operation, repair and maintenance of all equipment within CityPlex complexes as assigned by the Chief Engineer, Chief Mechanic or Assistant Chief Mechanic.  Maintain an attitude of cooperation between tenants and department employees and respond to complaints and troubleshoot accurate solutions to problems.

What you'll need to be successful:   

         A service-minded attitude.

         Proven ability and problem solving skills.

         Real world examples and knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

         Ability to work independently.

         A High School Diploma or GED.

         Three years or experience with mechanical equipment associated with commercial properties.

sitting, standing, stooping, standing walking, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, climbing, twisting of upper body, handling by seizing, holding, grasping, or turning hands, but without finger dexterity, and balancing to prevent falling or erratic movement, climbing hand-over-hand.  Visual requirements include color vision, near vision, far vision, depth perception and the ability to bring objects into sharp focus.  Working indoors and outdoors that at times could be exposed to periods of extreme temperatures and extreme noise.

 Employee could at times be exposed to mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, high pressure steam hazards, radiation hazards, fume/odor hazards, dust/mites and chemical hazards. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
