Chief Information Officer (CIO) - Information Technology

Full-time

Directs, plans, organizes and controls all activities of the Information Technology (IT) Department and ensures the effective, efficient and secure operation of all automated data processing systems.  Participates in planning corporate growth and coordinating the strategic plan with the development of information systems.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS; Master’s preferred with concentration is IT; at least 10 years work experience in all phases of computer operations with at least five(5) years in IT management.  Demonstrated experience in working with all levels of personnel and executives preferably in Higher Education.  Must have superior communication, written, analyzing, problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and team-building skills.  Requires the ability to explain and execute complex technology plans and strategies.  Must have the ability to supervise a variety of people, work on multiple tasks, analyze information to find areas in need of improvement, and motivate subordinates.

Ideal candidates will have significant Information Technology leadership experience and specialty expertise in one or more of the following technical areas:
* Banner, Oracle, etc.
* Instructional technology
* Infrastructure and Networking
* Administrative systems design and development in Higher Education

Considerable management skills are required to successfully perform the planning, directing, reporting and administrative responsibilities of this position.  A comprehensive knowledge of the information systems technology subjects and extensive knowledge of hardware and software, with the ability to keep abreast of new technologies required. 

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS will include but not be limited to:  sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, twisting of upper body, manual dexterity for use of office equipment, and minimal lifting up to 25 lbs.  Vision to include: near, far, depth perception, visual accommodation, color and field of vision. 

Digital Media Specialist - Marketing dept.

Full-time

Utilizing current and emerging web tools to advance the Marketing mission.  The Digital Media Specialist will be the primary leader in the implementation of digital media for the marketing of campus-supported endeavors. The primary role will involve the development of digital media projects and provide input on leading edge digital media hardware and software.

A bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Marketing or Strategic Communications, programming, or marketing.  Requires proficiency in standard web design, WordPress development, web app development, mobile web development, writing for the web, and aptitude for mastering emerging tools and trends.  Writing, editing, and multitasking skills are essential. 

Must have proficient knowledge of Programming language, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint, Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and other software required for maintaining and creating website content and reports.  Must be able to work independently, trouble-shoot and offer solutions to anticipate and solve issues.  Experience in coding HTML, XHTML, CSS and working with JavaScript ASP.Net and SQL preferred.  

Excellent interpersonal skills required and the ability to work with all levels of management and departments.  Must be detail oriented, work well under stress, and able to meet deadlines. Good reading, oral, math, written, grammatical, spelling, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills a must.

Sr. Service Desk Specialist - Information Technology

Full-time

Serves as primary point of contact for computer system users calling into the Service Desk line.  Answers inquiries and resolves issues that can be addressed without a physical site visit.  Provides assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. 

High School Diploma or GED required.  Vocational or Technical School training/certification in related field preferred.  Computer related certifications will be given consideration.  Requires two years related work experience.  Each relevant industry certification may be substituted for one to two years of experience.  Substitution varies by certification and current department need.  Proficiency in Windows XP, Windows 7, and MS Office products required.  Experience with MS Outlook, and remote desktop products required.  Experience with Mac OS, iOS, Novell GW Messenger and desktop imaging tools preferred.  Ability to work on multiple tasks with limited supervision.  Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
