Do you need help writing citations?
Most databases have tools that create citations in several formats, such as MLA, APA and Turabian.
Try the tools listed below to copy/paste/edit citations, as needed to match your assignment requirements. Always
check the citation references for accuracy with the print style manual.

Credo Reference
Go to Credo
Reference. Search a topic, browse a book, etc.

Select an entry.
The
example (right) is "Espionage" in
the book World Criminal Justice. At the end of the entry a citation is available to copy and paste or save (shown below). Click the style
you need. Currently, four styles are available: APA, Chicago, Harvard, and MLA.
Remember: always check the style format with the print style manual.

ebrary (ebooks)
Go to ebrary, do a search, and then select a book to view in the ebrary Reader.

Currently, a cumulative list of records cannot be printed but, ebrary does allow you to choose from several citation formats that will automatically be 1) printed when you print a portion of the ebook or 2) pasted when you copy and paste sections of text into a document such as your research paper.
Click My Settings (top right)> choose Preferences
- Under Select Citation Format choose a citation style
- Click Set Preferences button.
- Click the QuickView tab to return to the book view. Or, click the Search tab to return to your result list.
When you copy and paste text a citation in the chosen format is automatically pasted, too.
When you print, a citation in the chosen format is automatically printed on the bottom of the page.

EBSCO Databases
Go to an EBSCO database, such as Academic
Search Complete, and do a search.

- From the list of your results, select an article and access the full record (click the title).
- Click the Cite icon (in right sidebar).

- Select an appropriate format style from the six that are available, and then copy/paste the citation.

(Note: An Export Manager is available but, at this time ORU does not subscribe to citation manager software.) |

From
the list of results, add articles to the folder by clicking the Add to folder link.
- Click Folder at page top or Go to:Folder View in the right sidebar.

IN THE FOLDER mark
the items to be cited.
- Click the print icon.
NOTES:
Create a folder if you do not already have one.
To store items in the folder for a future session be sure to Sign in to My EBSCOhost. |

- IN THE PRINT MANAGER, uncheck HTML
Full Text box (if shown and checked).

- Choose a Citation Format.
- Click Print.
Items are reformatted for printing. Print or cancel the print then save or copy/paste the citations.

SAGE Full-Text Databases
Go to a Sage
database and search your topic.

- Select an article and access the full text.
Under Service options
click Downloading to a citation manager.
- At this time ORU does not subscribe to citation manager software but you can use the article citation information provided and the style manual to
create properly formatted citation.

Wall Street Journal
Go to the Wall
Street Journal and search your topic.

Access an article.
Click the Cite this link. Then
select a citation style.

WorldCat.org
Go to WorldCat.org and
search the book title.

Access any book record (click
the book title, if available).
Click Cite/Export. and then click a citation style. Copy and paste citation.
